While I am not sure what a woodshed is, I think we were taken behind it this past weekend. Our pool had the 4th, 10th, and 23rd ranked teams in the Southeast. Then we were bracketed against the 30th ranked team. The fact is, at times, we played good volleyball. We had a 21-15 lead against Cobb Atlanta and a 20-12 lead against Prolink. We just couldn’t seem to close out those games. There was really only 1 match where I thought that the team across the net was better than we were.
We have 9 weeks until AAUs with the slight distraction of Varsity tryouts next week. We will have to see how we can use this weekend to get better.
