Our 1st tournament is now in the rear view mirror. This season we have stepped up a level in competition by competing in the USA bracket at these national qualifiers. We ended up losing 3 matches, all in 3 sets. We won 5 games, all in straight sets.
We have a great group of girls. Since we added another middle, I am now getting used to a new role: part time cheerleader. With three middles on the roster and only two positions on the floor, for the 1st time in my volleyball career, I sat out a couple of games. I have to say that I don’t like sitting on the sideline, but my dad says that I need to get used to it for college. Ugh. Nope, I am not going to get used to it.
I did not get a lot of attack opportunities, but I did get a lot of blocking in. So the video below is basically a block party. Enjoy!
