We just completed our tournament down in Orlando. Unfortunately, we had a bad day on day 2, which effectively eliminated us from winning gold. I am, however, very encouraged with how we managed many of the challenges while going on to record a 8-4 record.
If you have had a chance to watch our team, you know that we run a 6-2 offense. When one of our setters went down and had to go to urgent care, we had to switch to a 5-1 on the fly. With no practice, I am very proud that we won all 3 matches with only one setter.
Next week we have USAV Nationals in Indianapolis. Not knowing what will happen with club next year, this could be my last battle with this great group of ladies. If it is, I plan to leave it all on the court!
