We have played better, but it was our 1st taste of playing better teams. While we finished 11th out of 24 teams, I think we could have placed higher. Of course, we started off going against the best team we have played in a tournament. Our 1st match was against PrepVolleyball’s 22nd ranked team. While I am not sure what he means when my dad said that they “beat the brakes off of you in the 1st set”, I think everyone should be proud in the way we regrouped in the 2nd set. We ended up losing the 2nd set 23-25.
We did rally to win the next two matches and move onto gold. Unfortunately, we lost in 3 sets the 1st round against a tough team.
