We just completed our last warm up before we move into qualifying season. I have always wondered why teams were at a disadvantage when playing on the road. I thought that it had a lot to do with the home crowd, but now I think it has a lot to do with energy. The weather was bad on Friday and it made for a long trip to Lexington. I know that I struggled with energy on day one.
While we ended up in 5th place in the Premier Division, there were a lot of places we still need to improve. The most important thing for us was consistency. Every match we lost, we lost in the 3rd set after digging a hole. It will be interesting to see what the coaches say this week in practice.
