I was really hoping that I could tell you that we punched our ticket to USAV National Championships, but we came up just short. I loved the way that we fought as a team. We ended up coming home with 3rd place in the Gold bracket in the American division. I hear that our finish was high enough that when we compete at Big South in a couple of weeks, we are being moved up to the U.S.A. division.
What was even sweeter was that we had the opportunity to avenge one of our pool play losses in the Gold Bracket. I am looking forward to getting back into the gym over the next couple of weeks getting ready for Big South. While we played a lot of great clubs down in Orlando, we practice against the best every week in our own gym.
